Trevor — Dental Hygienist

Trevor is Alaskan raised and went to high school at Service High. Fun fact about him is that his mother is also a dental hygienist which is what made him decide to pursue dental hygiene. He completed the Dental Hygiene program at UAA and came to our office shortly after. Trevor loves working with his patients and takes great pride in getting to know them. Trevor enjoys being able to help out the practice when needed and enjoys talking to patients. He does the best he can to make everyone feel comfortable and enjoy their time spent here. He performs his duties to the best of his ability during each hygiene appointment and likes to have fun and it shows.

Outside of work, Trevor spends time with his fiancé, Melissa and their daughter. He enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and playing sports. His favorite quote is, “Let’s Go!” He is also a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Lakers and loves to talk sports with his patients. Come in for your teeth cleaning and ESPN updates.

Noi — Registered Dental Hygienist

Noi has been at Alcan for 7 years. She was a Dental Assistant before she became a Hygienist She is the youngest of her 12 siblings and learned early on that saving our teeth is so critical to our overall health. Noi loves being part of seeing patients get healthy through regular teeth cleanings and periodontal care visits with her. When Noi is not cleaning patients teeth, she loves cooking and used to have a local cooking show on TV. She loves mushroom hunting and fishing and makes medicines from Alaska nature to help with sicknesses.

Della — Certified Dental Assistant

 
Della has been a Dental Assistant for 5 yrs and is from Niatak, Ak, trained in Kotzebue and Sitka. She loves helping patients get a brand new smile. She loves to hike with her daughter.

Fiery — Dental Assistant

I have worked in dental for as long as I can remember. I love what I do to help our patients in Alcan to make them smile, be healthy, and feel good about themselves.

I enjoy traveling and exploring Alaska, trying new things, and physical activity outside whenever I can.

I love to bake and cook, especially authentic healthy and delicious food.

Danielle – Registered Dental Assistant

Danielle graduated with her associates degree in 2010 and started working with Alcan Dental Group in 2013. She left the practice for family reasons, but recently came back in 2021.

She is proud of her son who has been serving in the US Army for over 10 years. Her daughter works for a security firm in Seattle and would like to use her experience for the Seattle PD.

Danielle has worn many “hats” throughout life as an Aerospace Machinist, worked on the F-22 Raptor Prototype project, NASA, Boeing Space & Defense. She later decided to get into sheet metal fabrication and powder coating. After leaving Boeing she knew she wanted to be in the dental field.

What Danielle loves most about Alcan Dental Group is the family feeling atmosphere and great teamwork experience.

Brylee – Dental Assistant

As a dental assistant one thing I enjoy about my job is getting to know our patients and building relationships. Outside of work I enjoy playing competive hockey and quality family time.

Jackson – Dental Assistant

There’s nothing like giving people joy from the work you do. And making their happy smile better is what keeps me coming in every day. Ever since joining Alcan, I have been given the tools and assistance necessary to do my best work, and I hope to work here for a long time.

As for my personal life, I’m a huge gamer. There’s nothing like immersing yourself in a good story or combat loop. As well, I love to learn. Kind of an odd thing for some, I know. But just learning new things (helpful or not) is enjoyable for me.

Angelica — Office Manager

Angelica has been in the dental field for over 17 years, having completed a variety of trainings in implant, scheduling and billing seminars. Angelica’s goal is to help patients from the moment they walk into the office. With her clinical and administrative knowledge, she can help patients with all of their dental needs.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, two daughters and dog, Hannah. She also enjoys working out at the gym, cooking and getting her nails done at the salon. Angelica is fluent in Spanish and English, so patients who would feel more comfortable with a Spanish speaker, please see her at the front desk.

Kristy – Insurance Coordinator

Kristy started at Alcan back in 2016, she has advanced training in medical/dental and medicaid billing and when you come into ALCAN Family Dental you can’t help but see her smiling face and hear her welcome you! She is detailed and organized and ready to help patients with utilizing their dental insurance. A smile is so critical in patients feeling confident and she’s happy when patients leave smiling.
When she’s not at work Kristy loves to fish, and teach her little boy how to ride a bike and play outside.

Megen – Scheduling Coordinator

Megen has been with Alcan Dental Group for almost two years. After graduating from High School in 2019, she started as a front office receptionist.

When not working you can find Megen hanging out with family & friend, bowling, camping and hiking.

If you ever have questions about Medicaid, she will be the one you talk to.

Chantz – Treatment Coordinator

Chantz loves the atmosphere and the people at ALCAN Family Dental. Dentistry and health is her passion. She found oral health is often overlooked and affects the rest of your body so dental exams are so important as well as the things you eat and drink. Wellness is a huge goal for Chantz. She loves fishing and spending time with her kids and friends.
